Coinbazzar App Policy

This policy explains what the Coinbazzar mobile app (com.numismatic.coinbazzar, on Google Play and the App Store) collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers the app specifically. Coinbazzar Pvt Ltd, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India is the data controller.

What the app collects

Information you give us

  • Account details — your email address and password when you register or sign in. Passwords are hashed; we never store or see the plain text.
  • Profile — display name and profile picture, if you set one.
  • Order and delivery details — delivery address, phone number and the contents of your orders, cart, wishlist and saved-for-later list.
  • Seller information — if you sell on Coinbazzar: your store name, product listings, pickup address, bank or payout details and GST information.

Information the app collects automatically

  • Notification token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token identifying your installation, so we can send you order updates. Stored alongside your device model, OS version, app version and language.
  • Technical information — your IP address and request details, in ordinary server logs.

The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, calendar, microphone or call history. It does not contain advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Why we collect it

  • To run your account — sign you in, keep you signed in, show your orders.
  • To process orders — take payment, pass the delivery address to the seller and the courier, and let you track the parcel.
  • To notify you — order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, and (for sellers) an alert when an item sells. You can switch these off in your phone’s settings at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations — invoicing, tax and accounting records.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only what each party needs to do its job:

  • Sellers — for the items you buy from them: your name, delivery address and phone number. A seller sees only their own orders.
  • Delivery partners (Delhivery, Velocity, Shiprocket and similar) — name, delivery address and phone number, so the parcel can reach you.
  • Payment providers (Razorpay, and Paytm where offered) — they handle the payment directly. Card, UPI and bank credentials are entered on their systems and never reach our servers.
  • Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers the notifications to your device.
  • Expo (EAS Update) — delivers app updates. It receives your app version and platform, not your account data.
  • Government authorities — where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

On our servers in India, and with the providers listed above under their own terms. Traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS.

How long we keep it

  • Account data — until you ask us to delete it.
  • Order and invoice records — up to 8 years, as Indian tax law requires. These survive account deletion because we are legally obliged to keep them.
  • Notification tokens — until you uninstall the app or turn notifications off. A token rejected by Google is deleted automatically.

Your choices

  • Notifications — turn off in the app, or in your phone’s Settings for Coinbazzar.
  • See or correct your data — from Account in the app, or by writing to us.
  • Delete your account — email support@coinbazzar.com from your registered address, or use the account deletion request form. We remove your account and personal details within 30 days, apart from the invoice records described above.

Children

Coinbazzar is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Payment credentials never touch our servers. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected users if a breach puts their data at risk.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
