Proof and uncirculated are not the same thing

An uncirculated coin is an ordinary strike that never entered circulation. A proof is struck differently and deliberately - polished dies, more than one strike, mirrored fields behind a frosted design. Proof is a method of manufacture, not a grade, and the two command different interest.

A set is worth more whole

These were issued as sets, and a complete set in its original packaging is a different proposition from the same coins loose. Check what the listing states about the packaging and the certificate, and whether the set is complete.
