Step back into the twilight of the Edwardian era with this genuine 2 Annas silver coin, struck in 1910 under the authority of British India. Issued during the final year of King Edward VII's short reign, this small-module piece is a fascinating tangible artifact from the Raj. Struck at the historic Calcutta Mint, it features the distinct uncrowned portrait of the monarch on the obverse and a classic floral-framed denomination layout on the reverse. Crafted from .917 fine silver, this diminutive 15 mm currency witnessed the shifting tides of the early 20th century. Numismatists and history enthusiasts eagerly seek out this specific year-end issue to complete their Edward VII type sets or to anchor a burgeoning British India collection.
