This authentic bronze Quarter Anna represents a defining period of British India numismatics. Minted at Calcutta in 1918 during King George V's reign, the coin features his crowned effigy on the obverse and the denomination marking on reverse, all rendered in classic beaded-circle framing. Graded as Fine with honest circulation wear and light verdigris patina, it shows the genuine aging you'd expect from over a century of history. The Calcutta Mint attribution—confirmed by the absence of a mint mark—adds significance to its provenance. Quarter Annas from this era are increasingly difficult to find in pleasing condition. Collectors of British India coinage, George V issues, and early 20th-century Asian numismatics prize these coins for their historical weight and authentic character. This piece represents genuine history in hand.Returns & refunds · FAQ · About us · Contact
