A Rare silver Half Rupee of 1899 issued during the reign of Queen Victoria as Empress of India. The obverse carries the crowned and draped bust of the Queen with the legend "VICTORIA EMPRESS", while the reverse shows the value "HALF RUPEE" above "INDIA" and the date, framed by the familiar floral wreath design of the series.
