Complete Decimal Issue and The Last L.s.d. Ireland Rare ( 11 Coin Set)

This 11-coin set documents a transformative moment in Irish monetary history—the transition from the pre-decimal L.S.D. system to decimal coinage. The collection brings together the final coins issued under the traditional pounds, shillings, and pence denominations alongside the inaugural decimal issues, creating a complete numismatic record of Ireland's currency reform. Each coin represents a specific denomination from both eras, making this rare set invaluable to collectors of Irish numismatics and Commonwealth currency specialists. The rarity and historical significance of assembling both the last of one monetary system and the first of another make this particularly sought-after. For those studying 20th-century economic transitions or building Irish coin collections, this set represents an essential acquisition—a tangible archive of a pivotal shift in the nation's financial infrastructure and a window into the coin designs that marked this historic changeover.
