This is an exceptional collectible: a sealed 1000-note pack of 10 Rupees currency issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 2012, featuring the signature of RBI Governor D. Subbarao. The pack bears the coveted "000001" lower serial number—an ultra-rare designation that significantly enhances its numismatic value. Housed in its original rim packaging, this note pack remains in pristine, unopened condition, preserving both the notes and packaging from any handling or deterioration. D. Subbarao's tenure as RBI Governor (2008–2013) coincided with critical economic periods, making his signature notes particularly sought after by serious collectors. The lower serial number combined with sealed condition and historical significance makes this a standout acquisition. Perfect for those building high-grade currency collections or seeking investment-grade Indian numismatic pieces with documented provenance and rarity.
