10 Rupees Governor Bimal Jalan Rare ( 100 Notes) Serial Packet with Fancy Number Ending 786

This exceptional 10 Rupees note packet represents a coveted piece of Indian numismatic history, issued under Governor Bimal Jalan's tenure. The packet contains 100 sequential notes, each bearing a fancy serial number ending in the auspicious digits 786—highly prized in collectible currency circles. Bimal Jalan, who governed the Reserve Bank of India from 1997 to 2003, oversaw a transformative period in Indian monetary policy and note design. What elevates this lot beyond standard circulation currency is the rarity of finding complete, intact packets with matching fancy numbers, particularly those terminating in 786, considered fortunate in many cultures. Collectors prize such pieces for their historical significance, serial number aesthetics, and the challenge of locating pristine examples. The sealed packet format ensures authenticity and preservation, making it an ideal addition for serious collectors focused on modern Indian currency variants or those seeking investment-grade collectibles with both cultural and numismatic appeal.
