10 RUPEES OLD ISSUE GOVERNOR C.RANGARAJAN (B INSERT ) RARE GEM UNC SERIAL PACKET WITH FANCY NUMBER ENDING 786

The 10 Rupees note from the C. Rangarajan era represents a significant piece of Indian currency history. Rangarajan served as Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 1992-1997, making his signature notes highly sought after by collectors. This particular specimen is in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, meaning it has never circulated and retains its original pristine appearance. The "B INSERT" designation refers to a specific security printing series, which adds considerably to its collectible value. Most notably, this note features a fancy serial number ending in 786, a highly desirable attribute among numismatists who value aesthetically pleasing or auspicious numbering patterns. The combination of the governor's signature, rare condition, special print series, and fancy number makes this a true gem for serious currency collectors. Uncirculated notes from this era are increasingly difficult to find, making this an essential piece for anyone building a comprehensive collection of RBI notes from the 1990s.
