20 Rupees Wheel Birthday Governor Bimal Jalan Rare (100 Note) PIN Removed Serial Packet

This rare 20 Rupees note features Governor Bimal Jalan's signature and commemorates the Wheel Birthday design, making it a significant piece of Indian numismatic history. Issued during a pivotal era of Reserve Bank governance, this collectible represents an important monetary artifact from India's post-independence currency evolution. The note exhibits exceptional rarity, particularly in its serial packet configuration with PIN removed—a detail that enhances its appeal to serious collectors. While the first note in the packet shows minor handling wear (not UNC condition), the remaining notes in the sealed serial packet remain in pristine, uncirculated condition. This combination creates a unique collecting opportunity: you acquire both a circulated historical specimen and genuine UNC examples. Bimal Jalan's tenure marked modernization of RBI operations, and notes bearing his signature are increasingly sought after as monetary history becomes more valued. Perfect for enthusiasts of Indian currency, numismatic investors, and those collecting governor-signed notes.
