300000 Fancy Number 10 Rupees Governor C. Rangarajan Rare Note (Condition as PER Image)

This rare 10 Rupees note featuring Governor C. Rangarajan's signature represents a significant chapter in modern Indian currency history. Issued during Rangarajan's tenure as Reserve Bank Governor (1992-1997), this particular specimen is distinguished by its fancy number—a collector's prize that elevates its desirability far beyond standard circulation notes. The fancy number configuration makes it exceptionally scarce, as such sequential or repeating patterns are highly sought after by numismatists worldwide. The note's condition, as documented in the provided imagery, reflects authentic aging and handling consistent with genuine vintage currency. For serious collectors, this piece combines historical significance with numismatic rarity, making it both an educational artifact and a sound addition to any Indian currency collection. Its scarcity in the current market ensures lasting appeal among dedicated numismatists and investors alike.
