China 1 Jiao Rare UNC Note with Fancy Number Ending 786 #B2

This is an exceptional piece of Chinese numismatic history: a 1 Jiao banknote from 1980, issued by the People's Bank of China during the early reform era of the People's Republic. The 1 Jiao (壹角), equivalent to 0.1 CNY, represents a standard circulation note from this significant period in modern Chinese currency history. What makes this specimen truly special is its pristine Uncirculated (UNC) condition and the fancy serial number ending in 786—a feature highly sought after by serious collectors. The sequential digits create a desirable pattern that enhances both aesthetic appeal and numismatic value. This particular note (#B2 variety) is genuinely scarce in such superior condition, as most examples from this era show wear from extensive circulation. The 1980 Jiao note captures a pivotal moment when China was opening its economy to the world, making it historically significant beyond its monetary value. For collectors, this represents both a tangible artifact of Chinese monetary evolution and a sound investment piece. The combination of rarity, pristine condition, and fancy number designation places this note among the most desirable examples available to serious banknote enthusiasts and Asian currency collectors. --- #
