2 RUPEES GOVERNOR AMITABH GHOSH RARE 100 NOTE SERIAL PACKET

This listing features a full packet of 100 pieces of the 2 Rupees banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India, bearing the signature of former RBI Governor Amitabh Ghosh. These notes belong to a classic era of Indian currency when the 2 Rupee denomination was actively circulated before being phased out in later years, making surviving serial packets increasingly scarce and historically significant.

Each note in this packet carries sequential serial numbers, a feature highly valued by serious note collectors and numismatists as it confirms an unbroken, unused bundle straight from banking stock. The Amitabh Ghosh signature adds an extra layer of rarity, as his tenure as Governor was notably short, making notes signed by him harder to find in bulk quantities like this.

For collectors, this packet represents both a piece of India's monetary history and a smart addition to any banknote portfolio. Owning a full serial packet rather than single notes significantly enhances long-term value and display appeal. Whether you're building a numismatic collection, gifting a unique historical item, or investing in tangible paper currency assets, this 100-note packet offers authenticity, rarity, and strong potential for future appreciation.
