Rare 10 Rupees Governor C.Rangarajan Rare Serial Packet

This exceptional 10 Rupees note features the signature of Governor C. Rangarajan, a pivotal figure in India's monetary policy during the 1990s. Issued by the Reserve Bank of India, this rare serial packet represents a significant piece of numismatic history from a transformative era in Indian currency design. The note showcases the distinctive security features and printing quality characteristic of that period, with Rangarajan's signature adding considerable collector value. What makes this piece particularly sought-after is its rarity in packet form—most circulated examples have been separated or damaged over decades. The note's condition, combined with its specific serial number configuration, elevates its appeal to serious numismatists and Indian currency specialists. Collectors prize Rangarajan-signed notes for their historical significance and the governor's relatively brief tenure, making pristine examples increasingly scarce.
