The Gandhi Issue notes are highly regarded for their historical importance, featuring Mahatma Gandhi's portrait and reflecting India's post-independence currency design philosophy. What makes this particular note especially collectible is its specific serial number and the signature variant, which appeals to both currency collectors and Gandhi memorabilia enthusiasts. The note's condition, combined with its authenticated provenance, positions it as a valuable addition to any Indian currency collection. The L.K. Jha signature variant is particularly sought after by serious collectors due to its relatively limited circulation period and historical context during India's economic development phase.
