Rare Reserve Bank of India Five Rupees note of the well known deer reverse issue, bearing the signature of Governor P. C. Bhattacharya. The face carries the Ashoka Pillar Lion Capital at right, the promise clause in English with the large numeral 5, and the Hindi denomination panel below; the back shows a group of blackbuck antelope in a landscape, the RBI seal and the denomination in the Indian language panel.
