100 Rs White Strip Old Issue K R PURI Used Fine Note #5

This 100 Rupee note represents a significant chapter in India's monetary history, issued during K R Puri's tenure as Currency Note Press authority. The distinctive white strip design—a hallmark of this particular series—sets it apart from standard circulation notes and serves as a visual testament to India's evolving security printing standards. Graded in fine condition, this note displays the characteristic patina and wear befitting its age while maintaining excellent legibility and structural integrity. The K R Puri signature carries numismatic weight, making this piece particularly sought after by serious collectors of Indian currency. Its rarity stems from limited survival rates; most notes from this era have been withdrawn or heavily circulated. Whether you're building a comprehensive Indian currency collection or seeking an alternative investment with historical provenance, this note offers authentic vintage appeal and documented scarcity that appreciates with dedicated collectors worldwide.
