100 Rupees Diamond Issue Governor P.C. Bhattacharya Rare Note

This exceptional 100 Rupees banknote from India's Diamond Issue represents a significant chapter in numismatic history. Issued under Governor P.C. Bhattacharya's tenure at the Reserve Bank of India, this rare note features his distinctive signature, making it a prized piece for serious collectors. The Diamond Issue, named for its special commemorative design elements, commands considerable collector interest due to limited circulation and historical importance. The note's condition and authenticity reflect careful preservation over decades, enhancing its appeal to those seeking both investment potential and historical artifacts. Collectors value this denomination and issuing authority combination for its scarcity—fewer notes survive in pristine condition compared to common circulation issues. Whether you're building a vintage Indian currency collection or seeking a historically significant monetary artifact, this piece offers authenticity, rarity, and documented provenance that justify its place in any serious collection.
