100 RUPEES ELEPHANT GOVERNOR B.RAMA RAO ( BLACK NUMBER) EXTREMLEY RARE NOTE

This is a genuine 100 Rupees banknote from India's iconic "Elephant Series," issued under the signature of Governor B. Rama Rao, who served as RBI Governor from 1949 to 1957. This note is a highly sought-after piece from early Republic India currency, featuring the distinctive elephant watermark and design that collectors cherish. The BLACK NUMBER variant makes this note exceptionally rare, as most surviving notes from this era feature red serial numbers, making black-numbered pieces a scarce find in the numismatic market.

The Elephant Series notes are celebrated for their intricate design and historical significance, often symbolizing India's transition into a robust financial and monetary framework.

For collectors and enthusiasts, this note is far more than currency—it's a tangible piece of history. Its rarity, combined with the distinguished B. Rama Rao signature and unusual black serial number, makes it a prized addition to any numismatic collection, appealing to serious investors and casual collectors alike.
