2 Rupees Half Tiger Governor P.C. Bhattacharya Rare Green Note

This 2 Rupees note, issued during P.C. Bhattacharya's tenure as Governor, features the iconic Half Tiger design on a distinctive green background—a hallmark of India's post-independence currency. The signature of Governor Bhattacharya adds significant authentication and historical value to this piece. Rare in circulation today, this note represents a crucial chapter in India's monetary evolution. The green coloration and Half Tiger motif are particularly sought after by serious collectors, as production runs were limited and survival rates remain low. The note's condition, combined with its scarce denomination and gubernatorial signature, makes it an exceptional acquisition. Perfect for numismatists focused on Indian currency history or those building comprehensive collections of rare banknotes. An investment-grade piece with both historical significance and collector appeal.
