Description

This 2 Rupees Satellite banknote serial packet represents a significant piece of Indian numismatic history, issued under Reserve Bank of India Governor R.N. Malhotra's tenure (1992-1997). The note features the iconic Arihant satellite design, symbolizing India's technological advancement during the 1990s. This exceptional collectible comprises a serial packet with only 4 notes missing from the original set—a remarkable find for serious collectors. The Malhotra signature variant is highly sought after due to its limited circulation period and historical importance. Perfect condition and sequential numbering enhance its investment appeal. Ideal for collectors pursuing complete RBI signature series, Indian space-themed currency, or rare serial packet collections. A tangible piece of post-independence India's scientific progress and monetary evolution.
