This is an exceptional collectible currency piece from the Republic of India, issued in 2022. Featuring a denomination of 20 Rupees, this banknote showcases the magnificent Ellora Caves—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's most significant historical monuments. The note is authenticated with the signature of Shaktikanta Das, the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India during this period. What makes this specimen truly special is its fancy serial number ending in '786'—a highly sought-after digit combination among numismatic collectors. The banknote is graded UNC (Uncirculated), meaning it remains in pristine, new condition with no signs of wear or handling. For serious currency collectors, this piece represents more than monetary value—it's a tangible connection to India's rich cultural heritage and modern monetary history. The combination of the iconic Ellora Caves imagery, the significant gubernatorial signature, and the coveted fancy number makes this an attractive investment piece. Collectors prize such specimens for their rarity potential and the historical documentation they provide of India's currency evolution in the 2020s. This item is particularly valuable for those building comprehensive collections of modern Indian currency variants. --- #
