5 Rupees Fafda Big Size Governor Iyenger Rare Note ( Lowest Condition as PER Image)

This rare 5 Rupees Fafda note issued by Governor Iyenger represents a significant piece of Indian currency history. The Fafda series, produced during a transitional period in India's monetary system, is highly sought after by serious numismatists and collectors worldwide. This particular specimen features the distinctive Governor Iyenger signature, adding considerable historical and collectible value. The note's large size distinguishes it from later decimal currency denominations, making it a visually striking addition to any collection. While graded in lower condition as shown in the accompanying images, this only enhances its authenticity and vintage appeal—each wear mark tells the story of decades in circulation. The rarity of well-preserved examples, combined with the Governor's significant role in India's financial development, makes this note an essential acquisition for those focusing on pre-decimal Indian currency. Whether you're building a comprehensive Indian notes collection or seeking an investment-grade numismatic piece, this Fafda note offers both historical significance and genuine scarcity.
