Bombay Circle Incorrect Hindi Second Issue 100 Rupees B Rama Rau Note Big Size Ex Rare

This is a Bombay Circle Incorrect Hindi Second Issue 100 Rupees banknote from India's post-independence era, issued under B. Rama Rau's signature as RBI Governor. The "big size" format and Hindi printing error make this note a fascinating piece of Indian currency history. The note's very fine condition preserves excellent detail and color, making it highly desirable for serious collectors. The incorrect Hindi text variant adds significant numismatic value, as it represents a limited production run before the correction was implemented. This rare currency showcases India's early attempts at standardizing multilingual currency design. Collectors prize this note for its historical significance, printing anomaly, and scarcity in the market. Its substantial dimensions and well-maintained state make it an excellent display piece and investment-grade collectible that appeals to both Indian currency specialists and international numismatists.
