HVR Iyengar 10 rupees Fafda Issue Very Fine Condition Note #1

This 10 rupees banknote from the H.V.R. Iyengar era represents a treasured artifact in Indian currency history. Issued during Iyengar's influential tenure as Reserve Bank of India Governor, this Fafda Issue note carries his iconic signature—a mark of authenticity that numismatists highly seek. Graded in Very Fine condition, the note displays minimal wear with sharp details and vivid color preservation that reflects careful stewardship by its owner. Iyengar-era notes grow increasingly difficult to source in premium grades, making this specimen particularly desirable. Currency historians, RBI memorabilia collectors, and numismatists value these signature-period notes for their documented scarcity, historical significance dating to a pivotal leadership era, and their status as tangible pieces of India's monetary evolution. This Very Fine example bridges historical interest with investment merit.
