One Rupees Mix Governor (100 Note) Lott Low Condition# *144

This One Rupee Mix Governor note represents an intriguing piece of Indian currency history, issued during the colonial era under mixed gubernatorial administration. Graded in low condition (#144), this note bears the natural patina of age and circulation, making it an authentic artifact rather than a pristine specimen. The mixed governor signature reflects the transitional period of India's monetary system, a fascinating detail for serious numismatists. Despite its well-worn state, the note retains enough clarity to appreciate its historical significance and original design elements. Collectors prize low-condition notes for their genuine provenance and story—this piece has clearly passed through many hands over decades. Its rarity stems from survival rates; many notes from this era were lost to time. Perfect for collectors building comprehensive Indian currency collections or those seeking historically significant pieces that won't command premium prices. A genuine, affordable entry point into colonial Indian numismatics with educational and investment potential.
