Description

This exclusive 100 Rupees Governor C. Rangarajan Old Issue set comprises two consecutively numbered notes, a prized find for serious currency collectors. Issued during Rangarajan's tenure as Reserve Bank of India Governor, these notes represent an important chapter in modern Indian monetary history. The matching suffix number (647713) across both notes is a remarkable attribute that elevates rarity and collectibility significantly. Each note displays crisp printing, clear watermarks, and authentic signatures characteristic of this vintage period. The set's condition reflects careful preservation, making it ideal for collectors seeking tangible pieces of RBI history. Rangarajan-signed currency is increasingly difficult to locate in such pristine paired condition, particularly with fancy number sequences. Perfect for numismatic enthusiasts building comprehensive Indian currency collections or investors recognizing the growing appreciation of vintage RBI issues.
