1974 Planned Families ; Food for all ( 2 Coins Set) Bombay mint Rare set

Commemorate a pivotal moment in Indian history with this exceptional 1974 Planned Families & Food for All two-coin silver set from the prestigious Bombay Mint. Issued during a transformative period in India's nation-building journey, these coins celebrate the government's commitment to family planning and agricultural self-sufficiency—core pillars of national development. Struck in pure silver and minted in Mumbai, this rare numismatic set captures the ideals of equality, progress, and peace that defined the era. Each coin is a testament to India's pursuit of sustainable growth and social welfare. As vintage commemorative pieces from over five decades ago, they represent a shrinking pool of well-preserved examples, making them increasingly sought after by serious collectors and numismatists. The historical significance combined with silver content and Bombay Mint provenance makes this set a compelling addition to any collection. An investment-worthy piece that authentically reflects India's developmental milestones.
