British Virgin Island Specimen Coin Set , 1973 Rare (6 Coin Set) Minted at Franklin Mint

This 1973 British Virgin Islands specimen coin set is a distinguished addition to any numismatic collection. Produced by the prestigious Franklin Mint, the six-piece set includes denominations from 1 cent to 1 dollar, showcasing the complete circulating currency series of that era. Specimen coins are specially struck with superior finish and quality, making them distinctly different from regular circulation pieces. This particular set captures a significant moment in the territory's monetary history, featuring designs reflective of 1970s Caribbean identity. The Franklin Mint pedigree ensures exceptional craftsmanship and authenticity, while the rarity of complete specimen sets from this period makes it increasingly difficult to find in original condition. Collectors value these sets for their historical significance, artistic merit, and investment potential. The intact presentation reflects careful preservation, appealing to both seasoned numismatists and those beginning their collecting journey. #
