CIVIL AVIATION INDIA -2011 MUMBAI MINT 2 COIN ((PROOF SET))

This exquisite 2011 Civil Aviation India Proof Set, struck at the prestigious Mumbai Mint, commemorates a landmark chapter in India's aviation history. The set was released to mark the Centenary of Civil Aviation in India, celebrating 100 years since the country's first commercial flight took to the skies in 1911. Comprising two coins in proof quality, this set showcases the Government of India's official commemorative design, minted with exceptional precision and mirror-like finish characteristic of proof coinage. Each coin reflects meticulous craftsmanship, featuring sharp detailing, polished fields, and frosted design elements—hallmarks of true proof-grade minting. As official legal tender issued to honor a significant historical milestone, this set carries both numismatic and historical importance, making it a valuable addition for coin collectors, aviation enthusiasts, and history buffs alike.
