United States 1 Dollar 1979 "Susan B. Anthony Dollar" Rare Coin

Secure this iconic Susan B. Anthony Dollar from 1979, a landmark piece of American numismatic history. Issued by the United States during the Federal Republic period, this one-dollar coin commemorates the pioneering women's rights activist with her distinctive profile on the obverse. Composed of a copper-nickel clad composition, this standard circulation coin represents a brief but significant era in U.S. currency (1979-1999). The 1979 inaugural year makes this particularly desirable among collectors seeking foundational pieces. Susan B. Anthony Dollars are increasingly sought after as interest in women's history and vintage coinage grows. The coin's relatively short production run and limited circulation compared to modern currency enhance its collectibility. Whether you're building a comprehensive U.S. coin collection, focusing on feminist historical artifacts, or seeking meaningful vintage investments, this 1979 example offers authentic historical value and numismatic appeal in excellent condition.
