This exceptional 250 Kuponi banknote from Georgia (AD 1993) represents an important piece of post-Soviet numismatic history. Issued during Georgia's early years of independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union, this currency showcases the nation's distinctive cultural heritage through its striking design featuring majestic griffins flanking the sacred Borjgali (Georgian cross) symbol, with decorative bunches of grapes adorning the reverse. Graded in UNC (Uncirculated/New) condition, this note exhibits pristine quality with no signs of wear, handling, or circulation—a remarkable achievement for a banknote from this transitional period. The griffins and Borjgali motifs reflect Georgia's rich Byzantine and medieval artistic traditions, making this note both a monetary artifact and a cultural symbol. For collectors of world currency and Eastern European numismatics, this 1993 Kuponi is highly desirable. As Georgia's transitional currency during a pivotal moment in its history, these notes have become increasingly sought-after by serious collectors. The pristine UNC condition combined with its historical significance makes this an excellent addition to any world banknote collection or investment portfolio focused on rare post-Soviet era currency. --- #
