The Armenia 50 dram banknote is part of the 1998 banknote series issued with an all-new design and enhanced security features. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. Its obverse side features the famous Armenian composer Aram Khachatryan and the Opera House building. On the reverse side of the banknote are male and female ballet dancers with swords, performing a scene from Gayaneh ballet. Mount Ararat can be seen in the background. Furthermore, the note displays a musical score. This 122 x 65 mm paper bill printed by Thomas De La Rue has a Coat of Arms pattern as its watermark.
