Brazil 200 Cruzeiros 2nd Edition; 2nd Type Rare Note #B2

This Brazil 200 Cruzeiros banknote from the 1981-1984 series represents a significant piece of Brazilian monetary history. Issued by the Central Bank of Brazil during the Federative Republic era, the 2nd Edition, 2nd Type designation marks this as a distinct and scarce variant within the standard circulation series. Rare banknote variants like this appeal to numismatists collecting Brazilian currency and Latin American paper money, offering both historical value and documented scarcity. The note captures an important economic period in Brazil's financial heritage, making it a tangible record of the country's 1980s monetary systems. Collectors prize such pieces for their limited availability, authentic provenance, and role in illustrating a nation's economic history. This collectible combines genuine historical significance with accessibility for both serious numismatists and emerging collectors building their collections.
