Own a genuine piece of Myanmar's Socialist era history with this exceptional 15 Kyats banknote from 1986. Issued by the Union Bank of Burma during the Socialist Republic period (1974-1988), this note represents a fascinating chapter in Southeast Asian numismatic heritage. Measuring 149 × 71 mm, this rectangular paper currency showcases the artistic and political character of Myanmar's late 20th-century monetary system. What makes this specimen truly special is its pristine GEM UNC (Gem Uncirculated) condition—a rare find for notes from this era, as most circulated examples show signs of wear and aging. The note features a unique serial number that varies with each purchase, adding individual character to your collection. This is an ideal acquisition for serious banknote collectors, historians, and enthusiasts of Asian currency who appreciate authentic artifacts from significant political transitions. The combination of historical significance, exceptional preservation, and scarcity of high-grade examples from this period makes it a worthwhile addition to any numismatic portfolio. Perfect for those building comprehensive collections of Asian banknotes or studying Myanmar's monetary heritage.
