This exceptional Japanese 100 Yen note represents a significant piece of mid-20th century numismatic history, issued between 1953 and 1974 during Japan's post-war economic renaissance. The note features the distinguished portrait of Taisuke Itagaki, a prominent Meiji-era statesman and political reformer, on one side, while the reverse showcases the iconic Diet Building of Japan—the nation's parliamentary seat. Graded in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, this rare specimen exhibits pristine preservation with no signs of wear, circulation, or handling. The exceptional state of this note makes it a prized acquisition for serious collectors and Japanese numismatic enthusiasts. This denomination and design series holds considerable historical significance, reflecting Japan's transition into a modern democratic nation. The combination of its historical importance, limited availability in UNC condition, and cultural relevance makes this note an outstanding investment piece. Perfect for collectors focused on Asian currency, post-war memorabilia, or those seeking authentic historical artifacts that appreciate over time. #
