Peru 50 000 Intis segmented foil security thread UNC Note #Q

This Peru 50,000 Intis banknote represents a significant piece of monetary history from the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. Issued in 1988 during the Republic period, this standard circulation note features an advanced segmented foil security thread—a sophisticated anti-counterfeiting measure that was cutting-edge for its time. The denomination reflects Peru's high-inflation era of the late 1980s, making this note a tangible artifact of the nation's complex economic history. In UNC (Uncirculated) condition, this banknote has been preserved in pristine state, retaining its original crispness and vibrant printing quality. The segmented foil security thread is particularly notable, as it represents an important evolution in currency security technology. For numismatists and collectors of world banknotes, this piece holds considerable appeal as both a historical document and an investment-grade collectible. The combination of its specific security features, denomination, and exceptional condition makes it an increasingly sought-after addition to comprehensive currency collections, particularly those focusing on Latin American monetary systems or modern security innovations in currency design.
