Tajikistan 100 Roubles Rare GEM UNC Note

Buyer will receive different serial number 1 note

This rare Tajikistan 100 Roubles banknote from 1994 represents a significant piece of Central Asian numismatic history. Issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan during the early years of the nation's independence, this note carries historical weight as a currency from the post-Soviet era. The note measures 120 × 60 mm and is composed of traditional paper material, displaying the rectangular format standard for banknotes of that period. Graded as GEM UNC (Gem Uncirculated), this specimen exhibits exceptional preservation with pristine condition that collectors highly covet. The 1994 100 TJR note is particularly sought after due to its limited circulation period—the Rouble was only used in Tajikistan from 1995 to 2000 before being replaced. As a demonetized currency, these notes are no longer legal tender, making them purely collectible items with increasing scarcity. Each note features a unique serial number, ensuring individual authenticity and appeal to serious numismatists. This piece serves as an excellent addition to collections focused on post-Soviet republics, Central Asian currencies, or transitional monetary systems. Its rarity, historical significance, and gem condition make it a compelling investment for both seasoned collectors and those beginning their journey into world banknote collecting.
