Tibet 100 Srang Round seal Rare Note #B2

This exceptional Tibet 100 Srang banknote represents a pivotal moment in Himalayan numismatic history. Issued during the Ganden Phodrang period (1642-1959) between 1942-1959, this rare note features the distinctive round seal design that characterizes Tibetan currency of the era. The 100 Srang denomination was the highest value in standard circulation, making it inherently scarce and highly sought by serious collectors. This particular example, marked as #B2, showcases authentic period craftsmanship and reflects Tibet's brief period of monetary independence before 1959. The round seal motif is a stunning visual identifier of genuine Tibetan issuance. Collectors prize these notes for their historical significance, artistic merit, and extreme rarity in preserved condition. Whether you're building a specialized Asian currency collection or seeking investment-grade political history, this piece offers both cultural importance and numismatic value that continues to appreciate.
