Yogi raj Sri Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya Fountain- Head of Kriya Yoga is well renowned as the ‘God of Householders’ The beauty of his tents and ideals which is foremost is that remaining within the family ambit, maintaining family, social, official responsibilities one can practice Kriya yoga sadhana or Brahma sadhana. Kriya Yoga is an eternal science flowing through aeons on the soil of Bharath as it has been practiced by munis, rishis, yogis thus uplifting the spiritual glory of our nation. Kriya Yoga finds mention in the Patanjali Yoga Sutras of Rishi Patanjali , it is the same as the Raja Yoga of the Gita.
Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya remaining within the family ambit and abiding by all earthly discipline practiced this rigorous Prana Sadhana Himself till He reached its pinnacle within four years. This remarkable juxtaposition of Family discipline coupled with austere sadhana is sterling example which He set for mankind.
He has proved that emancipation(moksha) from the birth-death cycle can be attained without any external renunciations. Yogi raj revived this Gita based supreme knowledge and imparted it to all his disciples who were household people. During Kriya Yoga Sadhana practice, His own self-realizations have been penned by him in his 26 confidential diaries. These self written diaries are a source of immense store House of Spiritual Knowledge and inspiration to soul- seekers who wish to practice and attain moksha. This is his infallible bestowal to mankind.
On 26th September 1895, at the auspicious juncture of Mahashtami and Mahanavmi , Yogi raj Sri Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya effected his Sublime Departure.
Yogi raj Shyamacharan mission is a charitable, nonprofit socio- spiritual organization established to enable humanity to gain access to the source of eternal peace through the practice of rational scientific technique of Kriya Yoga hence soul-science.
Yogi raj Shyamacharan mission has been set up under the aegis of Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee asthe Founder Guru and Spiritual Director.
Yogi raj Shyamacharan Mission aims to preserve, retain the pristine ethos of the eternal science by imparting supreme Brahma Knowledge irrespective of caste, creed, gender community to soul-seekers thereby endeavoring to maintain the spiritual sanctity of the ideals and tents of Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya hence fathering Santana Dharma’s backbone Yoga Shastra.
