Rare 10 Paise coin of 1977 issued by the Republic of India as part of the FAO “Save For Development” commemorative series. The reverse carries a hand placing a coin into a savings box surrounded by symbols of agriculture, industry, education and health, with the Hindi legend “Vikas ke liye bachao” above and the English legend “SAVE FOR DEVELOPMENT” below. The obverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with “INDIA” and “BHARAT” and the denomination 10 PAISE.
