Rare 5 Rupees coin of 1992 from Republic India, a copper-nickel definitive issue of the standard circulating series. The value side shows the large numeral 5 with “RUPEES” below, flanked by floral sprays, the Devanagari legend “रुपये” above and the date 1992 at the foot, with a star mint mark centred beneath the date for the Hyderabad Mint. The reverse carries the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the motto “सत्यमेव जयते” and the country name in Devanagari and English along the rim.
