The value side carries the Devanagari legend “रुपया” above the numeral 1, flanked by two wheat ears, with “RUPEE” and the date below, and a dot mint mark centred beneath the date. The other side shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with “भारत” and “INDIA” along the rim.
