Rare Republic India 5 Rupees commemorative coin of 2011, struck to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, the educationist and founder of Banaras Hindu University. The obverse carries his portrait with the dual dates 1861-2011 and the anniversary legend in Hindi and English, while the reverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with "Satyameva Jayate", the country name in Hindi and English, and the rupee symbol with the value 5.
