Rare 5 Rupees coin of 1999 from Republic India, struck at the Hyderabad Mint as shown by the star centred below the date. The value side carries the large numeral 5 with “RUPEES” and the date within a floral wreath, while the other side shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with “भारत” and “INDIA” and the motto Satyameva Jayate below. A peeled flap of metal is visible at the upper rim of the value side, consistent with a planchet lamination flaw.
