Rare 10 Paise coin of Republic India dated 1975, struck in aluminium at the Calcutta Mint and issued on the “Equality Development Peace” theme. The obverse carries the legend EQUALITY DEVELOPMENT PEACE around a woman’s head beside a spray of wheat, with the year split either side, while the reverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka above the large numeral 10 with the country name in Hindi and English.
