This exceptional copper dam from the reign of Ahmad Shah Bahadur (1748-1754 AD) represents a significant piece of Mughal numismatic history. Minted at Elichpur during the AH1161-1167 period, this scarce denomination bears the obverse inscription “Ahmad Shah Bahadur badshah” with the mint mark “Zarb Elichpur” on the reverse.
