Rare A -36 One Rupee Bundle Manmohan Singh 1976. 65C 027501

This exceptional 1976 one rupee note features the signature of Manmohan Singh, India's former Prime Minister, during his tenure as RBI Governor—a historically significant combination. The A-36 prefix denotes its printing batch, while the fancy serial number 65C 027501 adds to its numismatic appeal. Issued by the Reserve Bank of India during a pivotal economic period, this collectible represents a unique intersection of monetary history and political legacy. The note's condition and serial characteristics make it particularly sought after by serious currency collectors. Manmohan Singh's signature on currency is notably scarce, as his RBI governorship (1982–1985) preceded most circulating notes bearing his autograph. This bundle represents an outstanding investment piece for those collecting Indian currency rarities, historical signatures, or pre-liberalization monetary artifacts. Perfect for numismatists seeking authentic pieces with documented provenance and collector appeal.
