Rare A -56 One Rupee Bundle 1991 Montek Singh Ahluwalia ,Starting 10 notes missing, 90 Notes bundle 014911- 015000

This exceptional A-56 One Rupee bundle from 1991 represents a significant piece of Indian currency history, featuring the signature of Montek Singh Ahluwalia, the then Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. The bundle comprises 90 notes spanning serial numbers 014911–015000, offering collectors a consecutive range with limited circulation history. The missing opening 10 notes actually enhance its rarity and narrative appeal, making this an incomplete yet historically valuable collection. One Rupee notes from this era are increasingly scarce in bundled form, particularly with recognizable gubernatorial signatures. This lot appeals to serious numismatists and Indian currency enthusiasts seeking authentic period pieces with documented provenance. The consecutive serial numbering and intact binding make it an ideal foundation for a focused collection focused on 1990s RBI currency variants.
