Rare circulated 5 Rupees coin of the Republic of India dated 2000, from the cupro-nickel definitive series. The obverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the legends “भारत” and “INDIA” and the motto “सत्यमेव जयते” beneath, while the reverse carries the large numeral 5 with “रुपये / RUPEES”, the date and a floral spray on either side.
